Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at palatinepicklers@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Our indoor season at Canlan Sportsplex runs from the second Tuesday in November through the last Tuesday in April. The outdoor season at Sycamore and Hamilton runs from the first week of April through the end of October.

We place shirt orders as soon as we reach our 12-shirt minimum, which usually takes 2 to 3 months.

Please label your paddle with your name so it’s easily visible in the court racks. For outdoor play at Hamilton, write your name upside down on both sides of the blade just above the handle (so it reads right-side up when resting head-down in the PVC troughs). For indoor play, write your name across the very top edge of the paddle head, as paddles are racked handle-down.

Yes! Place your four paddles side by side in the rack. Just ensure the number of paddles ahead of yours is a multiple of 4 (e.g., 4, 8, etc.). If needed, allow players coming off the courts to step ahead of your group until the queue aligns properly

No, outdoor open play and all mentoring sessions are completely free—club shirts are the only item we sell. Keep in mind that third-party indoor venues may charge their own facility entry fees.

Absolutely. Bear brings several loaner paddles to every mentoring session, and our members are always happy to lend you a spare during open play.

If all courts are full and players are waiting, everyone must exit the court and rack up their paddles after each game.

Singles is only permitted when there aren't enough players present to fill the courts for doubles.
