WHO ARE THE PALATINE PICKLERS ?
The goal of our club is to promote pickleball throughout Palatine and nearby communities and to enhance our Member's enjoyment of the sport, our club, and themselves.
The Palatine Pickleball Club was established in 2015. Now, ten years later, more than 4,800
enthusiasts have chosen to become “Palatine Picklers.” They receive informative and photo-filled, monthly
newsletters, can purchase a variety of T-shirts and caps bearing the club logo, and can participate in events
such as ladders, King/Queen of the Court tournaments, Family Fun Tournament for non-spousal relatives of
members, untall ladies tournaments, widows tournaments, treetoppers tournaments for men 6’ plus, a
variety of age group tournaments, lefties tournaments, bionic tournaments for those with a
new knee,shoulder, or hip, Halloween costume tournaments, ugly holiday sweater tournaments, Petite
Picklers tournaments, Heavy Hitters for guys 210+, etc. We also have occasional social events, and
destination pickleball vacations.
Extremely popular is our mentoring program with four, free
sessions each summer week and 3-hour sessions with instruction from each of 6 Mentors in
the indoor season. We serve up to 150 newer Palatine Picklers each
year. We also have bi-weekly intermediate level intramurals year-round, charity
events, a Facebook presence, and more. We also promote regional tournaments run by members of our club.
